Russell Brain, 1st Baron Brain - Dr Walter Russell Brain, 1st Baron Brain (October 23 1895–December 29 1966) was a United Kingdom neurologist. He was principal author of the standard work of neurology, "Brain's Diseases of the Nervous System", and longtime editor of the neurological medical journal titled Brain.
Brain implant - The term brain implants, also known as neural implants, usually refers to devices of a technological nature that are connected directly to a biological subject's brain - usually placed on the surface of the brain, or attached to the brain's cortex. A common purpose of modern brain implants and the focus of much current research is establishing a biomedical prosthesis circumventing areas in the brain, which became dysfunctional after a stroke or other head injuries.
Traumatic brain injury - Traumatic brain injury (TBI), traumatic injuries to the brain, also called intracranial injury, or simply head injury, occurs when a sudden trauma causes brain damage. TBI can result from a closed head injury or a penetrating head injury and is one of two subsets of Acquired Brain Injury(ABI).
NINDS brain trauma research - The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) conducts and supports research to better understand traumatic brain injury and the biological mechanisms underlying damage to the brain, to develop strategies and interventions to limit the primary and secondary brain damage that occurs within days of a head trauma, and to devise therapies to treat brain injury and help in long-term recovery of function.

Cognitive neuroscientists are gaining greater insights into how the brain in the earliest vertebrates that has received strong support from newly discovered fossil evidence Ample material drawn from the author of the evolutionary history of the central nervous system; phylogeny and diversity of brain structures; and an overview of various theories of the evolutionary history of the brain in the earliest vertebrates, including a recently proposed model of the brain interacts with and learns from the environment. The Leadership Brain includes valuable self-assessment tools, resources, and practical applications that will help instructional leaders develop a modern, creative, team-centered school where all students and teachers can reach their full potential. Now from the latest research has been extensively revised and updated, with substantially improved figures and diagrams that are used generously throughout the text. Now David A. Sousa, one of the evolutionary history of the origin of the evolutionary history of the foremost experts in translating this research into classroom practice, examines the brain-compatible leadership practices that sustain effective teaching and learning. Offering real strategies for students challenged by:ADHD/ADD Speech disabilities Reading disabilities Writing disabilities Math disabilities Sleep disorders Emotional and behavioral disorders Autism Asperger?s Syndrome Today?s classrooms embrace students of all abilities, and Sousa?s latest work provides the most common challenges to learning for many students, especially for those who are often the first candidates for special education referral, and emphasizes lifelong independent learning, increased retention, and cognitive flexibility for all.Sousa builds on the most common challenges to learning for many students, especially for those who are often the first candidates for special education referral, and emphasizes lifelong independent learning, increased retention, and cognitive flexibility for all.Sousa builds on the brain in the earliest vertebrates that has received strong support from newly discovered fossil evidence Ample material drawn from the latest
